this is my district on p day
i got to see sister to'o for the last time before she goes home at transfer meeting because i had to be at a meeting in kingwood at 8 in the morning on tuesday
hey everyone!,
so many things happened this week/ nothing at the sametime. this weekend was conference which was amazing:) some of our appointments got canceled on us this last week so sister Burgoyne and i just ended up watching conference at the church with all of the other missionaries. it was pretty fun though and in between sessions we played volley ball and had some of our less actives come and watch conference with us:)
sister Burgoyne and i are without a car for about a month or so, so we will be able to have the chance of riding our bikes everywhere! haha its pretty stressful but its totally fine because maybe we will be able lose some weight from it! hahah plus that means i will be able to get a tan as well:)
since ive been down here in lake charles i have been studying on faith and how i can get more faith in all that i do, and so it was amazing when at conference every single talk without fail talked about faith. i find it so interesting the way that god answers our prayers. my favorite talks were elder holland, elder uchtdorfs, and one of the 70... hahah i dont remember his name right off the top of my head.
this week i will only be in my area for about two days because tonight i have to go up to kingwood which is 3 hours away and
tomorrow we have this big meeting that they do with all of the zone leaders and sister Training leaders an how we can help all of the other missionaies... i guess they do this the first week of every month.. exciting huh? it will go from about
8 am till 4 or 430 and then i will have to drive home! then
thursday is planing day and
friday and
saturday i will be in vidor doing exchanges... the perks of being an STL... so i might not have a lot to say next week about my area but i will probably have a lot to say about what i have learned. well i love you all!!
love, sister Turpin
